Jon McCardle, President

Jon has been awarded the 5-Star Wealth Manager Award for 2010, 2012 and 2013 and is a member of the National Ethics Bureau, Better Business Bureau and the who’s who of financial professionals. Jon was featured in Forbes Magazine as one of 7 financial leaders in Indiana.

Jon is an Institutional Money Manager with Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services, Charles Schwab, TD Ameritrade and TIAA-CREF. This unique status allows Jon and his team to work with employees from companies like Monsanto, Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Duke Energy, Roche Diagnostics, Purdue Univ. and St. Elizabeth Regional Health with their retirement accounts BEFORE they retire.

Jon’s clients have enjoyed access to a complete financial planning department that create Comprehensive Plans for their future. Jon also offers several unique portfolio strategies that allow his clients diversification away from the traditional portfolio theory.

Jon has been the keynote speaker for communities, corporations, churches and non-profit agencies on Financial Planning. Over the past decade, Jon has been helping families with their financial planning and retirement needs.

Jon lives in Lafayette Indiana with his wife Tammie and 3 children. Having grown up on the west side of Indianapolis, Lafayette allows the grandparents to visit the grandkids without taking a long trip to do so. Jon also is a part of Rolling Thunder, Inc, which is a non-profit veterans awareness organization.

CHRISTIAN C. BERTELSEN, MBA

Chief Investment Officer

With 37 years investment experience, Mr. Bertelsen joined Global Financial Private Capital as a Portfolio Manager and Managing Director in 2004. Prior to joining Global Financial Private Capital, Mr. Bertelsen was director of the value equity group for Phoenix Investment Counsel. He previously served as Chief Investment Officer at Dreman Value Advisors and Portfolio Manager of the Kemper-Dreman Contrarian and Small Cap Value Funds. He also served as Senior Vice President with Eagle Asset Management and the head of the equity investment department at Colonial Advisory Services, Inc., as well as Senior Vice President & Manager of The Colonial Fund. In addition, Mr. Bertelsen held positions with Batterymarch Financial Management, and State Street Bank & Trust Company.

In his position at Global Financial Private Capital, Mr. Bertelsen is responsible for the development and performance of all investment strategies.

Mr. Bertelsen holds an M.B.A. and a B.A. in Economics and History from Boston University. He is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society.

Chris Bertelsen is the Chief Investment Officer of Aviance Capital Management, LLC, an affiliated Registered Investment Adviser.

STEPHEN FEDAK, CFP®

Senior Financial Planner & Registered Principal

Mr. Fedak is one of the Certified Financial Planners™ on the GFPC Financial Planning team. As Registered Principal, he is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Financial Planning department. In his role as Senior Financial Planner, he specializes in the design and implementation of customized financial planning strategies. He joined Global’s team in July of 2005. He is also a Florida Life, Health and Variable annuity licensee and Series 7, Series 63 & Series 24 licensed representative.

Mr. Fedak’s career in the financial services began in 1990 as a registered representative for First Investor’s Corporation, in Tampa, Florida. In 1994, he accepted a position with T. Rowe Price Associates where he was a retirement plan and variable annuity specialist. In 2000, he was promoted to the position of Assistant Vice-President of T. Rowe Price Advisory Services, Inc., and he acted as lead Certified Financial Planner™ for the T. Rowe Price Retirement Income Manager™ advisory service.

Mr. Fedak attended Penn State University, Richard Stockton Sate College and the Florida Institute of Technology. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, in 1989, and a Certificate in Financial Planning, 1998.

Born and raised in Atlantic City, N.J., Mr. Fedak relocated to Florida in the fall of 1990 where he spends time walking his Golden Retrievers on the beach and gardening at his South Tampa home. He is also an active member of the Gandy Civic Association, where he serves on the Board of Directors

JAMES NEEL, CFA

Portfolio Manager

Jim has over 30 years of experience in Investment Management. While managing equity mutual funds for Kemper in the 1990’s Jim won a Lipper Award in the Growth and Income category. Jim also served as portfolio strategist for Kemper Financial Services, CEO of Dreman Value Advisors and Partner at Loomis Sayles. Jim is a graduate of Michigan State University, holds a BA and an MBA and served four years as a U.S. Navy officer.

PAUL J HAMACHER, CEO

27 Years of Leadership Experience, specializing in: strategic management; systematic process development, integration, and implementation for business optimization; transforming subjective inference and qualitative analysis to a tangible, objective, reliable, iterative, single order of quantitative measure, which provides means for implementing a company vision, by utilizing an integrated, seamless approach and methodology for decision making and crucial evaluations. Inventor of the Alchemy Intangible Transformation Process (AITP)™ utilized for developing elaborate decision making models. Paul served as Department Chair for Aerospace Studies Department at the University of Missouri-Rolla. Retired military with Top Secret security clearance, Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) and has degrees in Electrical Engineering from Norwich University and a Masters Degree in Engineering Management from Golden Gate University.
