A Financial Advisor to Show the Way
Our financial planning process begins with the Summit Pathway Discussion, which helps you really think about what you need, want, and hope to achieve. It's a combination of practical and aspirational thinking that seeks to uncover what we need to do to get you to where you want to be.
We will be your guide during every step of the way toward your financial summit, ensuring that you know precisely what is taking place throughout putting together your plan. As the saying goes, “To whom much is given, much is required.” Everyone should put serious thought into their future; let us assist you with yours.
Summit Pathway Discussion
The Summit Pathway Discussion is meant to give you a clearer picture, so we can develop a plan that will help you achieve all of your needs, wants, and wishes. Here are some examples of questions that will be asked during this discussion:
Phase 1 – Where You Are
We begin by taking an inventory of your current financial resources in order to better understand the first phase of your plan—where you are! The only way to move forward is to know exactly where you are starting from.
Phase 2 – Your Retirement Planning Needs
Once we have a firm grasp of what we’re working with, we can get to work understanding what you need, what you want, and what you wish to achieve. It is during this phase that we use your current resources to lay the groundwork and map out a trajectory to eventually attain your goals.
Phase 3 – Finalizing Goals and Details
With all the planning worked out, phase 3 deals with the finishing touches, approval process, and ensuring that you understand 3 major things: where you are, what you need to do next, and where you are going. Here, we will also lay out any costs and expenses involved with your plan. We encourage total transparency as we confirm the efficiency of the plan we’ve put together to achieve each of your goals.
Phase 4 – Putting Your Retirement Investments into Action
Phase four involves the actual deployment of your plan in a focused and “à la carte” manner. Our attitude is that: unless everyone at the table agrees, we do not deploy the strategy. It is crucial that you’re well-informed, engaged, and approve of each aspect of the plan. If we need to take extra time, get more details, or confirm or contrast various aspects of your retirement plan, we do so…period.
Phase 5 – Keeping Your Plan Effective into the Future
Finally, your retirement plan will need looking after and continually adjusted as time goes on. Phase 5 is the maintenance stage, in which you are kept up-to-date on your retirement plan’s progress and any changes that may have a material impact on its health. We proactively communicate with update calls and meetings to make sure you are informed and that you are ultimately satisfied with your progress as time goes on.
